The OIEP Video
Teleconferencing Center (VTC) offers VTC services in two separate
rooms; the Council Chamber room which utilizes a single 63" plasma
display and the Main Conference Room utilizes two 61" plasma
displays. We can support both IP / ISDN connectivity either
point to point or multi-point which can include up to 15+ separate
national / international (ISDN / IP or both) locations and
connections; the prior of which would have additional associated
costs and a longer pre-planning term.
Using a dedicated fiber
feed, our center has conducted standard VTC based meetings, both
abroad and domestic, VTC based interviews, English courses in China
(conducted remotely via VTC) as well as conferences with several
locations connected at once (Uganda, Israel, South Africa and United
States based locations).
If your organization
has professionals that travel and you need to be in contact with
them, we also have a loaner program where you can rent a computer
based VTC system that your professionals can take on the road with
them.
You can then communicate to them through our VTC center (support is
provided) or through your own VTC unit (limited to no support).
